Ingeborggården is a modern care home in Frederiksberg, designed around everyday life, comfort and community. Within its contemporary interiors, acoustic comfort plays an important role in creating spaces that feel calm, welcoming and easy to navigate for residents, staff and visitors.

In care environments, where shared spaces bring together conversations, daily activities and movement throughout the day, managing sound is particularly important. Excessive noise and reverberation can contribute to a restless atmosphere and make communication more difficult. By integrating sound-absorbing surfaces throughout Ingeborggården, the acoustic environment is considered as a fundamental part of the overall experience of the space. Custom graphic Wall Panels are also integrated into the signage and wayfinding system, using floor-specific graphics to create intuitive visual markers for residents, visitors and staff.

Supersonic Wall Panels are used across different living and communal areas to reduce reverberation and support a more comfortable sound environment. Selected from AKUART’s Colours & Patterns range, muted colour combinations vary between rooms, allowing the acoustic treatment to respond to each interior and give individual spaces their own visual character. 

In selected areas, Imagine acoustic panels introduce imagery into the environment, combining sound absorption with a more decorative and familiar expression.
