Acoustic performance is verified through third-party testing conducted by independent engineers in certified laboratory environments. This ensures documented, measurable results that can be confidently integrated into specifications, compliance processes and project calculations.

Material Responsibility

Recycled materials are incorporated into core components, supported by verified environmental data and structured documentation, including Möbelfakta certification and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). Material decisions are evaluated not only for performance, but for traceability, transparency and alignment with procurement requirements in professional projects.

Sustainability as a Design Decision

At Akuart, material responsibility is integrated into how products are developed, sourced and delivered. Sustainability is approached as a design discipline shaped by measurable performance, controlled sourcing and long-term adaptability.

Responsible Materials

Key components are developed with high levels of recycled content. Aluminium frames are produced from 100% post-consumer recycled scrap, acoustic absorbers contain 75% recycled PET from plastic bottles, and textile surfaces are made from 100% recycled polyester.

Design for
longevity

Products are developed with replaceable textile surfaces and construction designed for disassembly. This allows renewal, adaptation and maintenance without replacing the entire unit, extending lifespan and reducing material waste over time.

European Production & Supply Control

Sourcing and manufacturing take place within the EU, with production based in Poland and Denmark. Proximity to core markets reduces transport distances and strengthens supply chain transparency and delivery stability.

Governance & Transparency

A formal Code of Conduct governs suppliers and production partners, addressing responsible sourcing, labour standards and regulatory compliance. Environmental documentation and material data are structured to support procurement processes and sustainability-related project requirements.
