Introducing EELGRASS aBSORBER FORthe SUPERSONIC Wall Panel

As part of our continued exploration into innovative, low-impact materials, we’re proud to introduce a new edition of the Supersonic Wall Panel featuring a bio-based acoustic absorber by Søuld. Known for its regenerative eelgrass mats, Søuld has pioneered the use of this natural material in interior and architectural applications, combining excellent acoustic performance with a remarkably low carbon footprint.

The Material

Eelgrass is a fast-regenerating marine plant that grows abundantly along the Danish coastline. It requires no fertiliser, irrigation, or pesticides and is harvested from the sea shores with minimal impact after its active life under water. The resulting material not only offers high sound absorption but also stores CO₂ during use, making it an ideal solution for low-impact design and responsible resource use.

By integrating Søuld’s bio-based eelgrass absorber into our Supersonic Wall Panel system, we’re combining regenerative natural materials with recycled components — including a 100% recycled aluminium frame and a canvas made from 100% recycled polyester. The result is a low-impact acoustic solution designed with circularity, carbon reduction, and long-term resource responsibility in mind. Powered with Søuld, our overall product carbon footprint is further reduced to become a net CO₂ storage during the product use phase *
